ABOUT THE CREATORS OF THE BOOK
Nicolas Nini Izumi
Nicolas NiNi Izumi was born in the south of Japan. He lived in Tokyo, London and Paris, now resides in San Francisco. He loves dogs, enjoys beautiful music, great novels and operas. He worked as a fashion magazine editor, a fashion stylist for numerous fashion shows and a window dresser for Chanel boutique in San Francisco. He works often with Leon Saperstein in the Bay Area and Paris. His heros are always Gabriel Coco Chanel and Piero Tosi (costume designer).
Leon Saperstein
Studio-FAB founder Leon Saperstein has been photographing people and fashion, working with renowned brands and publications since he opened his first photo studio in Paris, France in 1999. His client list includes international magazines like Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Cosmopolitan - and brands like Gucci, Hermes, and Chanel, just to name a few. He specializes in taking fabulous photos of people and is very good at helping them feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera, creating a unique and memorable photography experience for all his clients.

Studio-FAB was founded in 2015 and specializes in Fashion, Art, and Beauty. The team offers a wide arrange of services, including photography and video work for print ads, commercials, music videos, packaging, branding, websites, family, corporate and senior portraits, weddings, special events, and private and group photography workshops and classes. The new 900 square foot space is conveniently located steps away from Oakland’s City Hall. It features high ceilings, Boudoir style chaise lounges, a stage, and an open layout with a welcoming, modern feel. This multi-use, fully equipped production studio also hosts numerous events, including fashion shows, pop-up art shows, bridal showers, and workshops for aspiring photographers.
